Casa Lara is in the beautiful village of Positano.

You can reach it by road, with taxi, car or local bus. The taxi drops off in one of the car parks near “Piazza dei Mulini”. If you arrive with your own car you will have to park it in one of the pay car parks as there is no public parking.

If you arrive by bus you have to ask the SITA bus driver to drop you off at bus stop la Sponda and from there it's a 10 minute walk down hill to Piazza dei Mulini.

From the piazza you leave the road and enter the pedestrianised zone walking down as far as the main church called Santa Maria Assunta, from where you get a first view of the sea.

Passing in front of the church's square you turn right at the bottom of the first flight of steps and at the bottom of the second flight of steps you will see a ceramic shop called ceramic Assunta you turn right again.

You will find yourself in a small square with various shops.

At the far end of the square is a pink building on two floors with a white wrought iron gate.

Casa Lara is on the second floor of this building, the blue and white door on the left.

If you arrive by ferry, walk straight up from the port passing by ristorante Capricci, a red where the tourist office is and facing you at the end of the square is Casa Lara.
