“Excellent rooms, excellent views and an excellent host”

I would recommend this place as the best place to stay in Positano. Having stayed at several hotels previously in the area, I can say Casa Lara is the best and if I go back to Positano, I will be staying here again.
It is located very close to the beach, seafront restaurants and to the banquina (about a minute’s walk to all of them) making it very easy for daily trips to other resorts like Sorrento, Amalfi, etc.
Lara was the perfect host always willing to help providing excellent advice on the local area like where to eat, what to visit and things to do.
The apartment itself is in perfect condition and kept very clean and tidy. The bedrooms are all very spacious and there is a large living room that leads on to the balcony which has excellent views of the main square of Positano as well as the sea and the Galley Islands.
